The Detroit News has an article on a new "Hurricane" V8 from Ford, for the full size truck line. And they wonder if Ford will revert to overhead valves and abandon the overhead cams. GM and Chrysler V8s make more power than the 4.6 and 5.4 Fords and they are overhead valve pushrod motors. I'm curious, can't Ford get more power from the Modular motors? Isn't a return to pushrods a step back?
I'm betting that Jeff Fisher will have more detailed information and a better handle on the situation eventually. I'll have to check his page (link on sidebar) to see what he has.
